For sale is my Frank Neat curly maple banjo in good to very good condition. This banjo has the tremendous neck that Neat banjos are known for as well as a Kulesh tone ring that is highly sought after. In addition, the pros include that it plays great as you would expect, has a great tone all the way around, Prucha tailpiece (2-hump), Gotoh tuners, and a high quality Dotson bridge. The things that take it out of the excellent department include a re-bound, refinished resonator (glossy to match the neck) and a spot where previous buckle rash shows up as a darker spot (refinished smooth but has the darker area in pics). There is some fret wear but not major and there are a few spots on the neck binding where the aging clear coat has flaked off (see pics). All in all, the pics show that it is a great example of a Neat Banjo but has been moderately played over its life. A hard case in good to very good condition will be included.
