For sale is a very nice older 17 fret tenor banjo. This banjo does not have a maker mark stamped anywhere on it that I can find. But looking at the some of it's parts, this is from the late 20's into the 30's. It has a very nice hide hide installed, a thin spin on metal resonator, original 2 foot bridge, friction tuners & no knot tailpiece. It also has a nice rosewood fingerboard that cleaned up great.
This banjo needs almost nothing to ready to really play besides a better bridge & maybe a set of planetary tuners down the road. If you have wanted to try playing tenor banjo and don't want to break the bank, this is a great option.
