I have 2 of these and find that they play very well and are sturdy. I would leave one at a vacation home and use the other for travel to other places. They easily fit overhead on planes. One has a cheap pickup so I could jam with others (not a great pickup but it works) and the other has a closed back that is easily removed. Bags are in decent condition for transport. I tried the 26" versions and found them not as reliable (these are 28" end to end). Some people tune to G with heavier strings or up to C. I mostly played by myself so just tuned up to whatever felt good (I think around A). Could also use them for teaching.
