For sale is my 2024 Pisgah Wonder openback that was made in North Carolina with "native Appalachian curly maple". The Little Wonder tone ring has a great, warm tone including responsiveness and sustain. I traded for this highly respected openback in an attempt to learn how to play; however, the rhythm and intricacies of that style is beyond me. This banjo is in very good condition, with a "new" price of around $2800 so I'm asking for about half. The two things that needs to be noticed in the pics: 1) the head appears to be one that was made for some type of pickup; and 2) a previous owner drilled a hole in the rim to install the pickup plug-in. That part is not so pristine as seen in the pic but it does not affect the stability or function of the rim. A Pisgah soft carry case is included.
No trades at this time and thanks for looking. Feel free to ask questions.
