For sale is my Hopkins mahogany resonator banjo, Janice Martin model, in very good condition. This banjo has one of the best tones that I have had the experience to play. The tone and volume are both excellent, the finish is very good condition, no repairs, and the frets are in great condition. It looks to me like the frets may have been dressed but there is plenty of life left in them. This banjo has Waverly tuners in addition to the Keith D-tuners that are installed. This model has a Tony Pass rim and a great Cockrum bridge. Looking at the rim magnified several times, I there is a small line where it appears that drier humidity has opened a spot in the grain at one point. It is in the grain at one point and has nothing to do with the glue or plies. The plies of the rim are intact and are not separating. A hard case in good condition is included but the strap stays with me.
No trades at this time but feel free to ask questions. Thanks so much for looking.
