The Gibson Earl Scruggs model was first introduced in 1985. Later, under the oversight of Greg Rich the Scruggs model was revamped according to proper specifications and premium components. The Earl Scruggs became one of the best selling models in history. This 1989 remains in beautiful condition with its curly maple neck with Scruggs style hearts and flowers inlay on an ebony fretboard with its matching curly maple resonator.
