Robin was known world wide for his quality work and has created necks, pots and complete custom banjos for some of the most famous banjo players in the world, including Bela Fleck. Noam Pikelny, Alison Brown, Scott Vestal and many others.
This banjo was made in 2018 and has been played very little. The frets have absolutely no wear and the wood finish is perfect. All metal parts are like new. The sound and playability are incredible! Volume and tone are awesome with the maple rim and Sullivan professional tone ring. Workmanship is stunning!!
The "Superior" brand case has 6 latches and key lock with thick plush green interior and is virtually new.
Do not confuse this banjo with beginner or intermediate banjos. This is top notch, professional quality. Robin Smith passed away in 2020 so his work is already collectible!
