This is a parts banjo. Aka “Frankenstein”, but not a monster. Plays and looks very nice. No strings buzzes. The neck heel was originally cut for attachment with a resonator. The heel has been modified to fit an open back rim. The neck has been refinished and has all the original tuners. The rim was originally designed for resonator attachment and cut down for open back appearance and function. The 18 hole chrome plated steel flathead tone ring is original to the rim. It has a new tension hoop, head, hex lugs, flat hooks and tailpiece. The banjo weighs in at 6 lbs. there is no case
