The Gibson Granada was first introduced in the mid mid-1920s and evolved into this configuration by 1929. Production ceased in the 1930s and then Gibson began producing them again in 1987. This one is from March 1995… the 13th made that year. At 31 years old this banjo is still in great condition showing wear on the gold plating and over all patina. This one has “Gibson USA” in all the right places, including its original Kulesh tone ring. This Granada has brand new frets from Huber Banjos and Keith D-tuners and is ready to go.
