Walnut is a rare wood for instruments because the wood is reserved for high priced items, hard wood to work with. Walnut is the best wood for as banjo giving it a vintage Gibson sound that a mix of Maple and Mahogany. Best of both worlds.

Beautiful wood grain, somewhat lighter banjo bell, special rim and resonator.
Original case, banjo has been stored, carefully played, never left my house. Very little play. Small ding back head stock which was there when I purchased it. No real marks, no repair. Replaced the original bridge, I will try to include the original bridge.
