2012 Nechville Classic LC. Purchased the instrument a few years ago from the original owner who purchased it directly from Tom brand new. The banjo has seen countless gigs and picking sessions, but is resilient and versatile. The modern ingenuity of Nechville speaks for itself. The banjo was originally sold without a tone ring for weight reasons, and I chose to play it as is for all these years. It’s light weight, the tone is soft and warm. The rim is cut, however, to accommodate a tone ring should you wish! Inside the pot there are faux coordinator rods (with 3D printed brackets) for pickup installation, which can be easily removed and/or reattached on the fly. Only real signs of wear on the instrument itself (i.e., other than in the head), are some wear in the enamel on the side edge of the neck at higher frets. Generally unnoticeable to anyone but the player looking closely. Open to offers and any/all other conversation. **Possibly open to trade, particularly for a used D-18 or 28
