For Sale: 1920s R.S. Williams 5 String Banjo, Toronto, Canada (with Made in American Stamp!) Artist #9

Here is a nice original R.S. Williams & Sons (Toronto, Canada) 5 String Banjo. Model Artist 9. Very RARE banjo. There was always speculation, the R.S. Williams banjos were made in the US. .. and this one has the stamp!!! "Made in America" This sounds and plays great. Just set up with new Nylon Strings (La Bella). Also has the original "Elite" tailpiece. I am pretty some of the RS Williams banjos were made by SS Stewart. This one I would guess to be Rettburg & Lange. Great Banjo!!
