This is a fantastic Vega Model M conversion. The neck was expertly crafted by Indiana luthier Bruce Taggart, who did a wonderful job making the neck look and feel original. The banjo includes the original "pie plate" or resonator which has a beautiful amber burst. It’s currently set up with Nylgut strings for a rich, warm tone, but steel strings also sound great on this banjo. Scale length is 26 1/4 and the nut width is 1 3/16. Includes a nice hardshell case.
