According to Greg Rich, this made in the USA Recording King was known as the “Standard”. From the information I have gathered this is a prototype mahogany model. This banjo features a mahogany neck with a fantastic profile, along with an ebony fret board and abalone inlay in the peghead. The mahogany resonator has concentric rings along with nickel plated hardware and 20 hole flathead tone ring. The Kulesh tone ring is stamped underneath with the RWK logo and “RK-001”. if you have any questions or desire, additional pictures, don’t hesitate to ask. Thanks for looking.
