Sullivan Banjos is a company with a long history in the banjo business and have refined their craft into the Vintage 35. This one is made with beautiful curated mahogany for the rim and neck. This has a very loud sound and plays sweet as butter. There is a ton of details put into this banjo including popular wood on the inside of the mahogany resonator that includes a tapered sidewall for extra projection. It has the Sullivan Vintage 35 flathead tone ring installed on a 3-ply Red Maple Rim. The tone ring is years of development that is based on a pre-war 1935 Gibson flathead. The inlays are cut from beautiful Mother of Pearl that just shines in the light.
