For Sale or Trade: Paramount Original 5 String Banjo
Marking this down. Super rare all original 1925 Paramount style B maple five string Banjo. This even has the history written inside the resonator! Banjo is 101 years old and looks like it came out of the factory yesterday. I was told there was a previous headstock repair but I can’t see it annd believe it was the three piec neck separating at one time possibly. Unbelievable original condition other than a little cleaning up of the yellowing clearcoat on the headstock. Everything else is 100% Paramount probably made less than 100 five string Banjos making more tenors and plectrum banjos. Set up and plays nicely. Hard case included.
