NEW REDUCED PRICE ! This very fine Deering Vega #2 is in "almost mint" condition. Serial # 0922502B289. The only reason it isn't listed as "mint", is the small smudge mark on the head (above 5th string) made by my thumb when frailing. The Vega No.2 is a top grade banjo made of curly maple stained light amber and buffed to a high gloss. It has had very light use since I purchased it from the original owner 4 years ago. It has a new set of D'Addario strings recently installed. Deering lists this banjo new for $3995, without case. Asking price is less than half of the original Deering price! $1700/ OBO.
Hardshell case is like-new, except for one small area at the top edge, which was damaged while being transported. It has been repaired with epoxy. Although structurally sound, it is still visible.
