12-inch cherry tone rim, tortoise shell binding, ebonite cap, satin lacquer finish, mother of pearl custom inlay on neck with scoop for clawhammer, Ome custom bridge, aged brass tailpiece, rim stick cherry, planetary tuners, double cut Jubilee headstock with moon and star inlay, hoop and brackets: notched aged brass tension hoop, 26 brackets, aged brass ball lugs. Hard shell case included. (Note: getting ready to install new strings...thus the mix of photos).
I bought this used in 2018 and have used it very little. It plays like butter, with a beautiful low action and great tone––a spectacular instrument in every way...but it's just a bit too challenging for my skill level! I need frets, and will be purchasing a similar fretted instrument: in fact I will also consider a trade for something of similar quality.
