Rare Rich & Taylor banjo model: Terry Baucom from the 1990s, made after Greg Rich left Gibson. The name speaks for itself!
A finely crafted instrument with a walnut neck and resonator veneer, rosewood fingerboard and mother-of-pearl inlays. The pot consists of a 3-ply maple rim, a one-piece flange, a Tennessee 20 flathead tone ring, nickel-plated hardware, a Presto tailpiece and original Keith D-tuners.
Completely cleaned and reassembled, fingerboard oiled, head tuned, new strings fitted, string action and intonation optimally adjusted + a few ‘Magic Twists’. With the new setup, the banjo sounds fantastic again, just as it should.
The instrument is in good condition, with slight signs of wear and ageing visible: patina on the metal parts, fine cracks in the varnish (no damage to the wood), a few scratches on the headplate, and slight marks on the fingerboard and frets.
