Here is a extremely good sounding and playing 1955-1956 Gibson RB-100 conversion. I don't know who done the conversion but it was a very professional and an excellent job. It features a Huber HR-30 Flathead 20 hole ring, a great feeling and playing "Gibson Mastertone" Granada style mahogany neck. Someone refinished the resonator and the rim to match the neck it looks more of a Granada Style, and there are many signatures in the resonator from Bluegrass Legends with the likes of Bobby and Sonny Osborne, Larry Sparks and Rhonda Vincent. All the metal appers to be Prucha, the exception of the original nuts and hooks. Spikes at 7-9 frets, and does include a nice 11/16 snuffy Smith Crowe spaced Bridge along with a Remo USA head, and new GHS JD Crowe Studio strings. It features a set of Shaller D tuners and 5 star 1 and 4th tuners. It comes with a nice vintage hard shell TKL Canadian made hardshell case . There is a small wooden shim on the bottom but it does not affect the sound or playability at all. I do have a video available for sound sample . This banjo is very powerful with the sweet mahogany tone and all the volume anyone would need. Asking $2799 cash or best reasonable offer,in the local area. Could possibly entertain a trade for a higher end Martin Guitar. Sold as is and no returns and as always, thanks for looking and feel free to ask any questions.
