Here is a great sounding and easy playing vintage Bob Rock 5-string mastertone style banjo. This is a left-handed model, there is some information on Bob on the internet,he produced around 40 to 50 banjos in the 1980s-'90s and did a very excellent job. This one dates from September of 1993 and is his RB-2 model, appears to be all Prucha metal, with the exception of the armrest and the tailpiece. From my understanding he cast his own tone rings, this one has a 40 hole raised head ring. It features and original vintage five star frosted top banjo head. The banjo plays very easily and has a sweet tone with great volume. It features a nice high quality 5/8 Bridge along with a new set of GHS JD Crowe Studio strings.
