Gold Star GE-1 Prospector 5 string. Like new. No fret wear. No signs of use. 1.25" nut width. 26" scale length. Fiberskyn head. 5/8 bridge. 1/8" Action at the 12th fret 4th string.
Maple 2 ply rim. Maple Neck. Rosewood fretboard. Looks like a Rosewood headstock plate too. 24 hooks. No knot tailpiece. New strings. One coordinator rod. Frailing scoop. I oiled the fretboard with F-One.
Price includes shipping east of the Mississippi. Add $25 for west of the Mississippi. Does not include a case.
It plays nice and sounds great. Exactly how I would design a beginner banjo. Better than Good Times, Dirty Thirties, and I like it better that the pricier OT-25. It's got the looks and has features of more spendy US made banjos. Made in Asia. I don't know much about Gold Stars except that they had a good reputation when I was starting out playing.
