The 49 Classic s a nod to the configuration of Earl Scruggs’ banjo in 1949 with a “bow tie” fretboard from the Gibson factory. The Earl Scruggs model features a beautiful curly maple neck and resonator with Granada style sunburst finish. This banjo had a headstock crack that has been addressed at Huber Banjos and is 100%. The tone ring is the factory Kulesh and the nickel plated hardware shows some patina. Overall this banjo is in fantastic condition.
