This exceptional 1928 Gibson Style 4 archtop banjo captures the sound of the prewar era, blending power, clarity, and a touch of sweetness. Crafted from rich mahogany, it delivers a warm, resonant bluegrass tone. The original tenor neck is included, as well as a newer Gibson hardshell case. The Grover tuners are original to the banjo. Also included is a copy of the original 1928 bill of sale. A beautifully executed reproduction neck by Frank Neat enhances playability while honoring the instrument’s vintage heritage.
