For Sale: 1977 Stelling Starflower - 2000s Factory Revisit
Absolute powerhouse in the sweet spot of late 1970s Stellings! Before the Ebonol fretboard but still with the extra space after the 22nd fret and my personal favorite rim (3/4" block rim). This also happens to be one of the last mahogany banjos before Geoff quit making them for 25 years (with the Crusader in 2004!) Brightwork is exceptionally clean and the banjo plays super nicely with terrific action.
Banjo went back to Geoff in the 2000s and received a compensated nut and a pip at the 5th.
Has the original case in very good condition (edge wear covered up with textured black tape).
