This fantastic maple banjo was crafted by Richard Blankenship of Gray, TN. Richard was a machinist and woodworker, and also built banjos. This banjo is fitted with a 20 hole flathead tone ring, block rim, and nickel plated Mastertone style hardware, and a beautiful straight grain maple neck with a great profile. The resonator along with the neck are in a blonde finish. The neck and resonator are trimmed in a checkered marquetry and the resonator also has concentric rings.
