For sale, a custom Gibson-branded banjo assembled by Eric Sullivan. This has been my main neck for years, I had Eric Sullivan build the pot to match and assemble the banjo about a year ago. Selling to fund a prewar purchase. Banjo consists of:
POT
Sullivan Banjo Co. rim
"Crowe" tone ring
Prucha hardware
New AMB company head
Purcell 11/16" bridge
Nechville wooden armrest finished black to match
RESONATOR
Sullivan Banjo Co.
Mahogany veneer w/two concentric rings
(Honestly drop-dead gorgeous) RB-250-style finish
NECK
Built by Tim Davis
Wreath inlays
12" radius
1&1/4" at nut, profile based on this Robin Smith neck I have
Refinished w/speed neck by Chris Warner (wood isn't totally bare, feels absolutely amazing)
Spikes at 7-8-9
Rickard tuners
First five frets refretted by Tom Ellis last year, minimal wear
Only issues are a small patch in the finish near the heel (can't feel it, not sure why you would feel that part of the neck anyway), and some extremely mild wear on the resonator binding (from the strap in the case). I can drop the price a bit if you'd prefer a set of mystery tuners rather than the Rickards.
