I purchased this banjo from Cory Walker in 2021 and it has been my main working banjo for a few years. It was used on the latest Wooks album "Flyin' High" as well my double banjo album "Tone, Scruggs n Harmony" with Ellery Marshall.
Walnut neck and resonator. 14" radius fretboard. Scorpion radiused 5/8" bridge. Non original cobalt plated armrest ($40 vlaue). Theres also a "banjo kicker" from Gary Sosebee on the second hook from the neck ($65 value). The truss rod cover and and tailpiece cover are included but not currently on the banjo. Sale includes the 14" radius Elliot capo that I use with this banjo ($135 value). (note: some photos show the Rickard tuners, Fishamn pickup, and strap. These are not included)
At some point during my ownership the finish on the bottom of the resonator started flaking off (see pictures). There are a few other blemishes that you can also see in the photos. The frets are stainless steal and are starting to show some wear. I believe the condition is well reflected in the price. These banjos usually sell for $3,000-4,000.
