Description
Robin smith was truly a genius at building banjos and this is such a great example of that. This banjo is gorgeous and is also very clean. This is a classy professional grade instrument that is clean, set up and ready to go!!
This has a curly maple resonator with a mahogany neck. The fretboard is rosewood with gorgeous abalone inlay in the wreath pattern. This inlay is also on the headstock and the pearl has gorgeous pinks and blues. The wood has satin finish which looks very classy.
This has nickel hardware and includes a one piece flange and a no hole tone ring. This banjo has a lot of pop and bang as well.
Includes Hardshell Case.
Condition and Set Up
This is in fantastic shape. The hardware is glowing because we polished all of it. It was clean to begin with as well. The finish on the wood is in fantastic shape as well and has been waxed to a nice shine. The frets are perfect with a clean fretboard at spikes 7,8 and 9.
The head is a new Remo frosted head set to 90. The bridge is a Snuffy Smith and the strings are Huber. This is properly set up and this has serious bang that is balanced with sweet tone. This banjo is set up and ready to go waiting for you to bring all of it’s power to life!!
