I purchased this banjo new at Steve Huber's shop in March of 2011. Due to shoulder issues, I am selling this great sounding instrument and replacing it with a lightweight openback banjo.
This VRB-3 Truetone, with HR-30 ring and Engineered Rim, has a new head and Huber-installed spikes at the 7, 8, 9, and 10th frets. It is in very good condition with a small scratch on the back of the resonator, slight finish cracks on the headstock and resonator and a little tarnish on a small section of the tension hoop that metal polish will fix. It also comes with an upgraded Superior CF-1530W fibreglass case and a Huber capo (McKinney style).
