This refurbished Burdwise banjo uke is a rare find. Aaron Burdwise was a Ukrainian immigrant who started the Burdwise Musical Merchandise Company in 1904 in Baltimore and enjoyed some success until the company closed in 1929 as a result of the Great Depression.
