Description
This is a Gibson Copy RB3 that is built by an unknown but definitely professional builder. This is definitely a really nice banjo that has some nice quality parts. For instance the hardware is satin nickel and this has an original Gibson USA one piece flange. If you want a high quality banjo that is made in the Gibson style but don't want to break the bank this is a really good option for that.
This has a maple block shell with a mahogany neck and resonator, each with white binding. The fretboard is rosewood with a Flying Eagle inlay. This has a satin nickel tension hoop and a Gibson USA One Piece flange which has been dipped in satin nickel. The tone is a 20 hole unplated ring, I don't know who made it but the ring is also clearly pro grade. This has a satin nickel one piece armrest and satin nickel clamshell tailpiece as well.
On top of this the banjo also includes a very nice hardshell case.
Condition
This banjo is in stellar condition. The nickel hardware has been polished and looks great. The finish is in great shape and has been waxed to a shine. The frets and fretboard are in great shape and there are spikes at frets 7,9 and 10. This banjo is gorgeous and the case is in great shape also.
Set Up
This has a new Remo frosted head which is set to 90. The bridge is a Sullivan and the banjo has new Huber strings. This is a phenomenal instrument and this is cleaned up, set up and ready to go!
