Here is a banjo I built from old parts. The resonator and flange are from a B & D Senorita, the rim and tone ring are unknown. The brackets are Stewart MacDonald, with an Elton arm rest, Presto tailpiece, and Saga tuners. I made the neck out of straight grained maple with a rosewood fingerboard. The inlay work is not great, the frets are even and smooth, the peghead has a decal, not an inlay. The banjo has a nice tone but lacks volume. It would make a nice beginner to intermediate banjo or would be good for small venues where you don't want to overpower other instruments. The neck is a little clunky but not exceptionally so. It has a heel mounted truss rod. Decent banjo but not something a pro would play on tour. That's why I'm letting it go for this price. Includes a Musician's Gear hard case.
