A beautiful and rare banjo that I purchased new in 1980. It is in excellent original condition (except for a renaissance head and Gary Sosebee bridge), has never been refretted, and comes with the original hard case.
I have a few other banjos and this one isn't getting played much, so I have made the hard decision to let it go.
Specs: 11" maple rim with internal resonator. Figured maple neck with ebony capped heel. Ebony fingerboard and peghead. 27" scale. 11/4" nut. SN 539
