This is a banjo I assembled about 5 years ago from a Saga RK-2 banjo kit (No longer available.) This is an archtop banjo with the tone ring cast into the one piece aluminum pot. The banjo has been used by a student for the last several years, and has plenty of scratches and dings to show for it. See the pictures. The headstock has my last name (Lindblom) engraved in it, but it could easily be filled or sanded out. I just put a new Remo head on it and it comes with a Guardian hard case that's been used about 1 time. Mahogany neck and resonator.
This would be a great banjo for a beginner, or for someone looking to get a totally different sound than the typical flathead bluegrass banjos. This thing is very loud and bright!
