The sound of a Tubaphone is not as 'sophisticated' as a Whyte Laydie, or as 'sweet' as an internal resonator, it is clean and powerful! It is a performance banjo or for a player that's hard of hearing (that's a joke, folks). Bart's banjo's are lovely and very well put together. This one has the bracket band, backstrap, flowerpot, plus an outrageously flamey neck. There is little evidence of playing time on this banjo-even the hardware is shiny, no chips, dings, or dents. The serial number puts it at 1994. The Harptone case (with keys) is also in almost impeccable condition. Here is a banjo that you can play for a lifetime and pass it down to your next generation.
