A few folks have advised me the price should be lowered a bit! Consider it done. Now 1000 dollars! For Sale we have here what I believe is an old vega "conversion." By that I mean I suspect the pot and neck did not come together. I hope those of you who are knowledgeable about these will pipe up and educate me!
The dowel stick says "whyte laydie." (or some such as that.) I'm not particularly savvy on the old vega banjos. The banjo belongs to a friend of the family and I was drafted to help get rid of it. I think the pictures will tell the tale. Includes what I suppose is an original 50's era Lifton case.
