Vega Senator 22 fret plectrum banjo with Little Wonder tone ring, grained ivoroid friction tuners in original Lifton hard case in fair but functional condition. Great candidate for 5-string conversion or ready for immediate play.
Sports a nice vintage walnut two-foot bridge, appropriate vintage (Waverly?) tailpiece, original one-point shoes. One mismatched nut. The old Rodgers calfskin head I mentioned originally is no longer included unfortunately, but this fresh Renaissance head sounds great.
Has "honest" bumps etc. consistent with age. Dowel stick has a repair where an old Elton resonator was improperly attached, filled snugly with a wooden dowel and a mahogany cap patch,. Some old repaired hairline cracks on the fingerboard.
