This is a 5 string Banjo made with various parts in the style of a Pre War Gibson RB1 Banjo.  This has been inspected and set up at the Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta Georgia.

Description

There are a lot of banjo players that take various parts and build quality banjos.  I bought this from one of these handy banjo players and this is a great way to get a really cool banjo at a good price.

This has a thick maple shell with a maple neck and resonator.  The finish on the neck and resonator have been relic'd to look aged.  The hardware is brass with nickel plating and some of the nickel has also been relic'd to look aged.  The flange is a one piece flange and the tone ring is a 20 hole nickel plated ring.

This has a rosewood fretboard with seagull inlay and more RB1 style inlay on the headstock. This banjo is put together really well with some quality parts and this has the look, feel and sound.  This comes with a hardshell case.

Condition

This has been relic'd to look aged but the banjo itself does not have much wear from use.  The fretboard is clean and the frets look untouched.  This has purposely been made to look aged but has had very little use and is in great shape.  The case is clean.

Set Up

This has been professionally set up at the Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta Georgia.  This has a Remo frosted head which is set to 90 on a drum dial.  The bridge is set with correct intonation.  The strings are new Huber Truetone .10 gauge strings and the action is set nicely. This is also adjustable.

If you want to be in a banjo for under $2000 that is an interesting banjo which is a good sounding and playing banjo this is it.  The fact this has been relic'd makes it even cooler.
