Ray Alden's interest in Yoscos (especially modified Yoscos) got me interested. I think they are the most fascinating of all the internal resonators ever built and tend to sound amazing. Even Ry Cooder has one! This one began with a massive 13" Internal resonator pot (Yosco Colossus) with the inner wall shaved down so its not an archtop. Rickard/Balsam hardware and a Zach Hoyt flamed maple neck. I strung it as a cello (wound strings except the 5th) and it sounds fantastic. Plays like a dream. Skin head, HSC. Add a new voice to your arsenal...a DEEP voice.
