Here is a rare 2008 Fitch Masters Five. Check out previous reviews about Fitch banjos here on the HO and all are great.

This has a Sullivan Historic Growth rim, Blaylock Beartracks unplated ring, great playing and straight mahogany neck and reso along with a rosewood fretboard. The banjo appeared un-played when I bought it. The wood finish - as close to perfect as I could describe without calling it 'new'. There was no fret wear and I could not find one flaw in the fit or wood finish. I did find a minute nick on the edge of the 21st fret where the Masters Five block is which I included in the pictures.

I currently have Keith D-tuners installed and have the original tuners I can re-install if not wanted and will deduct $150 from the price. It also has spikes at 7,8,9th frets. I plan to remove the strap.

The metal was gold plated but a harsh cleaner appeared to have been used and the gold plating was rubbed off. It also appeared to have pitted. I donít know how/where it had been stored but the metal condition didnít match the virtually perfect condition of the wood, frets, and tone ring. The banjo sounds great but I believed it deserved a facelift so I replaced the flange and tension hoop with Prucha gold plated. I also replaced the tailpiece- restoring it to almost new condition. I have not replaced the armrest because you canít see it when youíre playing anyway and most of us recognize that arm rests wear.

It also comes with original TKL case.

I've added a few pics since I first posted the ad. If there is anything you want to see that is not included in pics, just let me know and I'll be glad to add. I also have a sound file of me attempting to play Sally Goodin' that I will be glad to text to you if you want to hear it. My playing ain't what it used to be so go easy on me! I can tell you, the banjo sounds way better than the player!

I'll answer any questions you have and if you buy, I'll do everything in my power to ensure a smooth transaction.

Thanks but not interested in trades at this time--and sorry - no sales outside of CONUS
