Description
The Recording King Banjos come from the mind of Greg Rich who once successfully redesigned the entire Gibson Banjo line. He is a legend amongst serious banjo players and builders and these banjos are his design. This is a powerful Bluegrass style flathead banjo and it is amazing these can be bought as low as they can, new.
This has a 3 ply hard rock maple shell. The neck and resonator are both mahogany with a gloss finish. The fretboard is rosewood with a Seagull inlay pattern. This has nickel hardware including a one piece flange and a 20 hole Pre War style tone ring. This is not only gorgeous this is loud and has the classic banjo twang. The banjo is professionally set up and includes a hardshell case.
Condition
This is brand new and in new condition.
Set Up
This has been professionally set up at the Banjo Warehouse. This has a new Remo frosted head which we set to 90 on a drum dial. The bridge is set with correct intonation and the action is set nicely. This is a phenomenal player as well.
