This is a 1939 Kalamazoo tenor banjo with "pyramid" tone ring and five string conversion neck. The banjo has a new 30's style tension hoop, OPF and hooks/nuts. The original Doehler flange that came on this rim is in great shape and available but not included with the banjo. The rim is a thin rim that came from the factory with the Doehler flange. Resonator is the original flat back. The banjo sounds very nice.
