Great sounding Vega by Martin light weight bluegrass banjo or, take the resonator and flange off for a nice sounding openback. The wood is all in great shape but the metal parts have corrosion. I flipped the flange when I installed a new Renaissance head so it looks pretty good; the tension hoop (as pictured) doesn't. There is wear on the first tree frets, but no buzzes. The neck is straight and the action perfect. The original case has been around but very solid.
This is not a collectors piece and not a beginners banjo, but a nice, bright sounding banjo, and the cheapest American made banjo with an adjustable truss rod that you will find.
