Wyatt Fawley gathered funds from 12 "investors" about 2008 to finance a dream project of his to create 12 banjos with tone modeled to the best of the pre war models. He had the tone rings custom forged after analysis of a number of pre war models he had had in his possession. This banjo is one of those created as part of that project. It was delivered to me as one of the original investors in 2014. It has a fantastic tone, great playability and exhibits Wyatt's usual top shelf workmanship. I live in the mountains of Western North Carolina and anyone interested in trying it out is welcome to arrange a visit. I have a hardshell case suitable for shipping but will be happy to deliver in a case of the buyers choice at buyers cost.
