This is one of the best Japanese Banjos with a rich, strong aggressive sound.
Fine details and top quality components as you would expect from early Japanese production craftsmanship.
This has a beautiful resonator which I am not certain of wood ,probably maple but it is amazing and clearly visible through the clear head. The neck I believe is maple. This has an ebony fret board. No railroad spikes in fretboard.
This has plated hardware which is in excellent shape all original. This has a one piece flange. The ebony fret board with a Wreath inlay pattern and white binding. The resonator also has white binding with w/b/w binding on back. Has a clam shell tailpiece, a full size bronze tone ring and a fat shell.
A classic look that is a good representation of American classics.
This is a really incredible banjo that was made during a time when Japan had a strong emphasis on quality. This is all original and also includes a hard shell case.
