The 2SR Model has the ODE aircraft grade aluminum pot with a hoop brass tone ring on top of the 28 hole cast ring. The neck is mahogany with two maple and one rosewood vertical strips and one each maple and rosewood horizontal strips for high stability and tone, along with the coordinator rod. The factory hole in the heel is the truss rod adjustment port that all ODEs and Balwins were built with from the mid-60's through the early 80's. The tuners are the original ODE planetary tuners with a Kroll (or very Kroll-like) 5th string geared tuner. There is a Shubb 5th string capo installed. The tailpiece is the original ODE, stamped logo, cast brass in perfect shape. The head is the original Baldwin frosted top. The neck plays perfectly--frets are in good shape, and it has the original bone nut. The action is 1/8" at the 12th fret--perfect. The finish has crazing, but the wood and hardware are in good shape. The flanges and rosewood resonator can be removed easily to convert is to an open back. This is a loud rivet buster! The hard case is TKL quality and in new condition. Here is the late Cathy Barton (R.I.P.) on Hee Haw in 1970 playing her 2SR, a model she performed with until she passed this year. A sad loss...she was a great clawhammer frailer. youtube.com/watch?v=nRw43mZls1Q
