Here is a unique and exceedingly rare open-back Epiphone mandolin banjo with a beveled wood rim tone ring and attractive pearl & abalone fret board inlays. This instrument is very clean throughout with an 11” rim, a 14” scale straight playable neck and all original hardware .
For players, this mandolin-banjo creates that great funky tone that is the hallmark of jug bands and country blues artists. And for collectors, an opportunity to own a beautiful example of a not often seen early 20s instrument.

$650 with period correct hard case.
