I bought this for a project, as I don't play tenor, and had intentions of making a 5 string out of it. Where ever this was, it was left alone and unstrung. Except for the resonator (which I wouldn't have used), it is pretty near mint. I believe the cladding on the rim is nickle. The "Elite" 5 string tail piece, is what came on it. The neck may be birch. The frets are good, the action is high, but it's probably adjustable. It has (as far as I know), the calf skin head that came with it, and it seems to be in just as good of shape as ever. It tightened just fine. The star on the peg head is painted on. The marker dots are mother of pearl. I believe it would be hard to buy a pot with all the parts for the price. If you look close, you can see it has the brass "head bearing", between the rim and the head. It would make a nice frailing banjo, and is standard 11".
