CLOVERLICK KNAVES RUN DELUXE 5-string open-back banjo, Serial KR-DX-015.
According to maker Jeff Kramer’s records, he completed this instrument for the original owner in January 2012.
I am the second owner.
Rim: 11˝ -inch diameter; white oak
Tone ring: Kramer’s EKTN’T
Neck: white oak; facewoods/fingerboard wood is cocobolo, I believe; scale is 23˝ inches; HO spike between 7th and 8th fret.
Bridge: Curtiss McPeak Lightning
Head: Remo ‘Renaissance’ (treated on the underside with Krylon paint per Kramer (post on BHO 23 March 2011): “The Knaves Run IS a Dwight Diller spec'd banjo. It comes with a head bottom treatment.”
Strings: Ome heavy gauge
Extras included: hand-tooled leather strap; capo
Includes TKL hardshell case.
